Reputation represents your standing within your clan and the broader community. It affects social interactions, available opportunities, and clan support.
Starting Reputation
- Level 0: Reputation = 0 (Untested youth)
- Level 1: Reputation = 1 (Proven adult)
- Higher Levels: Reputation = Character Level
Gaining Reputation
Reputation increases through notable deeds:
- Completing Quests: +1 for significant achievements
- Heroic Acts: +1 for saving lives or protecting the clan
- Defeating Enemies: +1 for overcoming major threats
- Discovering Treasures: +1 for finding valuable resources
Losing Reputation
Reputation decreases through dishonorable actions:
- Breaking Clan Law: -2 to -5 depending on severity
- Cowardice: -1 for abandoning allies
- Theft from Clan: -3 for stealing from community
- Betrayal: -5 for working against clan interests
Reputation Effects

Clan Support
Higher reputation grants access to clan resources:
- Equipment: Borrowing weapons, armor, tools
- Information: Access to clan knowledge and secrets
- Assistance: Help from clan members on missions
- Sanctuary: Protection from enemies
Regional Reputation
Reputation may vary between different groups. A hero to one clan might be an enemy to another. Track reputation separately for major factions and settlements.
